This locality has long been disputed but according to the article “Plumbogummit und Pyromorphit aus Guangxi/China” by Berthold Ottens in the German Lapis magazine issue of December 2014, p.12-22, ALL Chinese Plumbogummite specimens that are currently available on the open market are from an unnamed Baryte mine on the slopes of Laohu Hill in Gongcheng Co. All others, either labelled Daoping mine or Yangshuo mine are mislabelled.
