Frédéric Gaudry is a geologist-cartographer, biology-geology teacher, and highly active field prospector in the Beaujolais region. He is a member of the Arbresle-Chessy Mineralogical Association and was its president for eight years. Over more than 20 years, he assembled an outstanding collection of pyromorphite specimens from Les Farges and Bunker Hill, and is well known in the mineral collecting community under the nickname “Pyroman.” The deaccessioning of such a high-quality collection represents a rare opportunity for advanced collectors to acquire exceptional specimens and provide them with new homes!
